As printers, we do so much more than just print!
Which is why our one-stop shop print fulfilment service is so popular with our customers. They give us the brief and we manage the entire process. From printing, assembling, packaging, storing and shipping. From training binders to shelf-ready packaged products.
Here’s how it works.
Case study: training binders
We were recently approached by a new customer – a world-leading manufacturer in white goods – looking for help to produce training binders for its employees. So we proposed a four-step fulfilment package which they agreed to and it was job done!
Step 1: Production of company branded ring binders
The branded ring binders started off as thin flat sheets of paper. We printed on the sheets, added lamination for special effect, and wrapped them around the binders, affixed the ‘D’ rings and added business card holders. Extra care has to be taken with corporate colours as they are a brand’s identity so we ensured we produced an exact brand match.
Step 2: Production of product brochures, manuals, divider tabs
We printed the brochures and manuals and either stitched with staples or PUR bound them.
The divider tabs were then printed and die cut to shape. Everything was hole punched ready for the next step.
Step 3: Collation and insertion into the ring binders
The individual items were collated and inserted into the ring binders and the rings were snapped shut – training binders complete.
Step 4: Packing, storage and distribution
The final step involved packing the binders into boxes in specific quantities and storing them in our warehouse. Half of the binders were delivered to one address. The other half will be dispatched as single binders to various locations around the United Kingdom over the coming six months. And as soon as we reach the customer’s desired minimum stocking quantity, we’ll start the production process over again.
