Some of our production team: sleeves rolled up ready for a full-on day of work.

Teaming is integral to the success of any organisation. But none more so than smaller companies like us. Our people really and truly are our business – and our family!

So, we thought it was time to give team Stag Print a shout-out.

We may not be huge – there are currently 13 of us in total and we are recruiting more – but we’re a super diverse bunch of interesting individuals which makes for a great fun work environment. ?

Our family

Aaron Thompson
Our newest member, Aaron has joined us as a junior marketing assistant. Aaron is knowledgeable on the trends of social media and has brought many new ideas to help take our marketing to the next level. Exciting times ahead, watch this space!

Adrian Muntean
Adrian joined Stag Print in 2015 and has become one of the most valued members of our team. He is our quality control champion and also operates our carton gluer and our digital print machine. A massive achievement given he came to us with no print experience!

Ka Wai Fung (aka Glenn)
Glenn is from Hong Kong and is our die-cutting machine and guillotine operator. He joined as a temp helping rubber-band bundles of 25 boxes as they came off our gluing line. He quickly proved himself to be a very reliable team player and continued to learn from then on.

Pratiksha Patel
Pratiksha joined in 1986 and has been pivotal in building the business into the success it is today. She implemented systems and processes in the early days to keep an ambitious entrepreneur (her husband Raj) in check. To this day she manages our accounts and admin.

Raj Patel
Founder of Stag Print in 1979, Raj is the backbone behind it all. Raj has seen the highs and lows of the print industry and can tell many a tale. He has a lot of technical experience with our machines and ensures they are always in production with minimal downtimes.

Richard Andrews
Our resident print guru! With over 30 years’ experience he has an exceptional wealth of production knowledge. He is the main reason we are able to print to the quality standards we can. Richard has been with us for over 12 years and is an invaluable asset to the business.

Roger Gunnell
Roger is a litho press minder and a recent recruit to help us with our current growth trajectory. He has operated a number of different machines over the years and is well-versed in litho presses like ours with LED driers. Welcome to the team Roger!

Sush Patel
Son of Raj and Pratiksha, and an accountant with a management consultancy background. He’s brought fresh thinking to the business helping it modernise and grow. And has been instrumental to the diversification of the business into the manufacture of paper packaging.

Temporary workers
Our busiest periods are super-busy and the rest of the time we’re just busy! To help manage our peak workloads we hire helping hands who are usually with us between two and six months. They come from all walks of life, and are often looking for short term employment. They may not be permanent, but they’re vital to our business. This month we have Jo and Grenville, keep up the good work guys!

Our extended family

Claire Dee
Claire is our associate communications director. She has over 25 years of experience in the profession having worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, and Andersen, before setting up her own communications consultancy. Claire works closely with Sush and Aaron on our marketing and comms activity and strategy.

Natasha Patel
Natasha’s background in consultancy and passion for all things green means she brings much to the Stag Print table. And as Sush’s wife, she keeps him on track in her role as adviser and sounding board. She also recently re-negotiated our energy contract saving us £15,000 per annum.

Paul Jaffery
If you have ever owned or had a press demo on a Sakurai, you will have met Paul. Paul was one of the pioneers that helped push LED Litho printing into the UK. He provides us with invaluable support and guidance on our machinery acquisitions.
